摘 要:<正> The smelting of titaniferous magnetitein blast fuynace in China is unique in the natureof problems and their solutions. Fundamentalsof this successful technology will be discussed.Topics to be covered are: (1) the characteristicsof high content TiO2 in blast furnace slag;(2) influence of various factors on Ti transferprocess; (3) raising oxygen potential for adequatefluidity of the slag with TiO2 in the rangeof 25-30 wt-% and stability of TiC and TiN inslag.
