用电子计算机鉴定华南弓石燕和一些竹节石化石

摘    要：本文应用聚类分析,对华南弓石燕和一些竹节石化石各种属进行了数字分类;同时编制设计了电子计算机鉴定化石的BASIC程序。数字分类是以种为基本单位,以定性与定量并重的概念,用聚类分析并借助电子计算机进行计算,按群合并准则得出若干分类,经过对比、分析和讨论,择优录用的综合方案。文中的BASIC程序,是半自动化鉴定化石的程序。

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to elucidate how to identify cyrtospiriferidsand the Devonian zone fossils of Tentaculites in South China by means ofcomputer. The author adopts cluster analysis (cosin-theta coefficients andEuclidian distance) for the purpose and designs the BASIC programs of iden-tification.

There are included here two methods of numerical taxonomy and fourBASIC programs. These methods are accentuated qualitatively and quantita-tively. Mean-while, they are synthetic methods.

It is believed that this new method is more scientific than that of the conven-tional paleontologic classification. Relating to the four BASIC programs, thereare two designed according to the traditional classification and the other twoare designed according to the numerical taxonomy by using 16k BASIC pro-gram language.

This new method of identification through computer will be quite conveni-ent to any people although they are nonprofessional paleontologists.
