摘 要:讨论了电解质熔体和铝液界面的波动和稳定性,得到了一类重要运动的稳定性判据,从而提出了若干缩短极距的办法,对于极间短路和滚铝现象也给出了新的解释和计算。
Abstract: This paper tackled the complex problem of waves and stability of the flowin a Hall-Heroult Cell and came to some important and practical conclusions, forexample, the metal pad instability can be improved by some means such as increa-sing the electromagnetic-gravitational acceleration and decreasing the radius ofcirculation, the anode/cathode short circuit and the aluminium spout is a disco-ntinuous solution of the basic equations and can be prevented, etc.
