Thermodynamic Calculation of the YO1.5-CaO-MgO System

摘 要:<正> The thermodynamic assessment of the YO1.5-CaO and CaO-MgO systems was conducted by the leastsquares method applied to measured phase diagram data from the literature.The analytic descriptions of abovesystems were then combined with the previous descriptionof the YO1.5-MgO system to describe theYO1.5-CaO-MgO system by means of Muggianu’s equation.Comparisons between calculated and experimentaldiagrams show that the presently optimized parameters can account for the YO1.5-CaO and CaO-MgO systemsmore satisfactorily than the parameters published previously.It is hoped that the currently computedYO1.5-CaO-MgO phase diagrams will reduce and guide further experimental work in the tcrnary system.
