Fractographic Features of Ta-10W Alloy after High Temperature Mechanical Properties Test
Abstract:
To research the plastic deformation mode of Ta-10W alloy at high temperature, the mechanical properties of the recrystallized Ta-10W rod at high temperature ranging from 1000 ℃ to 2000 ℃ were tested, and the fractographic features of fractures formed at various high temperatures were analyzed.The analysis showed that the plastic deformation mode of Ta-10W alloy accorded with general law of metal plastic deformation at high temperature.The plastic deformation mode of Ta-10W alloy transformed from slipping mode to grain boundary gliding and turned with increasing test temperature.Two contrary courses of work-hardening and dynamic recovery or dynamic recrystallization existed at high temperature plastic deformation, and dynamic recrystallization had much influence on plasticity than dynamic recovery.
