Comparison of different gel routes used to synthesize Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 powders

摘 要:Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2(LAS) powders were synthesized through various sol-gel processes using acrylamide,citrate-acrylamide,citrate-nitrate and nitrate gel routes.The mechanism of formation of LAS in all these four gel routes was established by characterizing the gels and intermediate phases using TG-DTA,FT-IR and XRD techniques.Results indicate that the citrate-acrylamide route is easy to control and can obtain homogeneous LAS powders.
