β-Sialon/SiC复合材料在冰晶石熔液中的腐蚀行为

摘 要:探讨了β-SiaLon/SiC复合材料在冰晶石熔液中的腐蚀动力学规律、腐蚀机理及材料密度和碳化硅含量对其抗蚀性能的影响.研究发现,由于该复合材料中的β-SiaLon相与冰晶石反应生成粘度较大的NaALSiO4熔体能有效地阻止基体材料与冰晶石间的继续反应,抑制了腐蚀过程,使得β-SiaLon/SiC复合材料作为铝电解槽内衬侧壁的候选材料成为可能.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The corrosion kinetics and mechanism of β-Sialon/SiC composites in a cryolite moltensolution and the effect of apparent density and SiC content on their corrosion resistance,havebeen investigated.It is found that, the further corrosive reactions between β-Sialon/SiC ma-trix and cryolite molecus are retarded due to the formation of NaAlSiO4 with higher viscosityon the surface of β-Sialon/SiC composites′matrix. This makes it quite possible for β-Sialon/SiC composites to be the candidate materials for sidewall bearings in electrolyzers.K6y words composites;cryolite; mechanism of corrosion;β-Sialon-bonded silicon carbide
