摘    要:对现代铝电解槽内流体运动进行整体分析,将碳阳极下表面到碳阴极上表面的流体分成几个带区,并对各带区流动及其关联建立了相应的数学模型。在强大电磁力作用下,电解质熔体和铝液作分层水平循环流动,这种流动一般说来是有旋的;阳极下表面气体生成是大量的、随机的,其整体作用将改变液体分层流动的边界条件,其个别作用将引起扰动在液体中特别是其分界面上传播。本文还将电磁力沿三个方向分解,导出了适合于冶金电磁流动分析的YM型运动方程,并据此清楚地剖析了电磁力对运动的影响,建立了电磁流动由层流向湍流转捩的判据以及流动的相似参数。

Abstract: Having divided the whole flow field of a Hall-Heroult Cell into severalzones and established a combination of all individual models of these zones, this paper presented an overall interdisplinary treatment of the cell flow, which, driven by powerful Lorentz force and affected by the bubbles attached to theanode's underside, is characteristically stratified and essentially rotational. Moreover, an applicable momentum equation of electrically conducting fluid has been brought out, and the effects of the Lorentz force, the criterion of motiontransformation and the similarity parameters have been made clear. As a result, asolid foundation of theoretical analysis, numerical calculation and physical mo-delling for the Hall-Heroult Cell has been laid down.
