低品位菱镁矿摩擦电选提纯的试验研究

摘    要:为了有效利用低品位菱镁矿,同时降低菱镁矿分选提纯成本,拟采用摩擦电选对低品位菱镁矿进行分选提纯的试验研究。试验借助X线荧光光谱仪以及扫描电子显微镜对低品位菱镁矿做基础分析后,再采用较纯菱镁矿与石英(品位分别大于47.00%和99.00%)分别研究其与不同塑料颗粒球碰撞摩擦之后的荷电性质。按照菱镁矿与石英的质量比为6:1配制MgO品位为40.80%的低品位菱镁矿作为模拟物料完成分选试验。研究结果表明:菱镁矿和石英与PVC颗粒球摩擦之后,呈现出明显荷电差异,菱镁矿表面荷电量为+3.42 nC/g,而石英表面荷电量为 -5.56 nC/g。在自制电选设备中,采用粒度为3 mm 的PVC颗粒球作为填充摩擦介质;试验电压为15 kV,气流流量为60 m3/h, 给料速度为4.5 g/s,获得MgO品位为45.09%,回收率为68.40%的分选效果。摩擦电选可以实现对低品位菱镁矿中SiO2的脱除。

Abstract: In order to effectively utilize the low grade magnesite and reduce the purification cost of magnesite, the low grade magnesite was sorted and purified by triboelectric beneficiation. After the basic analysis of low-grade magnesite with X-ray fluorescence(XRF) and scanning electron microscope(SEM), the charge properties of pure magnesite and quartz (more than 47.00% and 99.00%) after the collision with different plastic particles were studied respectively. The grade of 40.80% magnesite was prepared by pure magnesite and quartz with the mass ratio of 6:1. The results show magnesite and quartz charge differently after having friction with PVC particles. The magnesite surface charge is +3.57 nC/g, while the quartz surface charge is -5.56 nC/g. The 3 mm PVC particles are filled as the friction medium in the lab-made triboelectrostatic separator. The MgO grade and recovery rate are 45.09% and 68.40% at 15 kV voltage, with wind speed being 60 m3/h and feed rate being 4.5 g/s. The triboelectrostatic beneficiation can remove SiO2 from low grade magnesite effectively.
