辰溪仙人湾埃洛石的晶体结构、形貌及应用

摘 要:在查明矿石化学组成的基础上,运用X射线衍射、傅里叶变换红外光谱、扫描电镜、透射电镜等手段研究湖南辰溪仙人湾矿区埃洛石的结构及形貌特征;并讨论与之相关的高层次开发利用途径。研究结果表明:辰溪仙人湾矿区埃洛石(001)面网间距因层间水与表面羟基间的氢键较强而缩短, (100)面网间距则因绕b轴卷曲而伸长;只有少部分脱水转变为准埃洛石;埃洛石晶体为形态完整的中空管状,无卷曲破裂或套管现象,管长为0.5~1.5μm,管外径为40~100 nm,管内径为10~16 nm,晶层数为15~40,具有天然纳米多孔晶体材料性质。
Abstract: On the basis of understanding chemical composition of primary ores, the characteristics on structure, morphology of halloysite crystals occurring at Xianrenwan kaolin orefield, Chenxi,Hunan, were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and the high-level utilization routes related to these properties were discussed. It is demonstrated that the distance of (001) face decreases because of the relatively strong H-bond between the interclated water and surface hydroxyl, while the distance of (100) face is elongated because of the rolling of sheets around thebaxis of halloysite. Very few halloysite crystals are dehydrated and turned into metahallysite. The morphology of halloysite is hollow tubule with no obvious spilting or tube in tube. With the calculated basic sheet number of 15-40, the tubular crystal dimension is 0.5-1.5μm in length, 10- 16 nm in inner diameter and 40 -100 nm in outmost diameter, showing the property of natural poly-crystal nanomaterials.
