箔-箔法制备微叠层Ti-Al系金属间化合物基合金板材

摘    要:利用Ti箔、Al箔叠加冷轧后热处理来制备微叠层Ti-Al系金属间化合物基复合材料板材,并通过热压将板材致密化。采用装备有能谱(EDS)的电子探针仪(EPMA)、X线衍射仪(XRD)对所得材料的组织结构、相组成进行分析。结果表明:当退火温度高于Al的熔点时,固态Ti和液态Al发生自蔓延燃烧反应,首先生成TiAl3相,随后TiAl3再与Ti反应生成Ti3Al、TiAl和TiAl2;反应形成Ti, α-Ti, Ti3Al, TiAl, TiAl2和TiAl3后,其各相之间发生竞争性扩散,在Ti3Al、TiAl和TiAl2长大的同时,TiAl3,Ti和α-Ti则先后耗尽;在TiAl3消耗完后,Ti3Al和TiAl2不断减少,TiAl不断增加,最终Ti3Al和TiAl达到平衡。

Abstract: Multilayered Ti-Al based intermetallic sheets were fabricated by titanium and aluminum foils through cold rolling and annealing. Hot press was applied to densify the sheets. The microstructure and phase formation of multilayered sheets under different heat treatment conditions were detected by electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA) equipped with an energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and X-ray diffraction instrument (XRD). The results show that the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) occurs between solid Ti and melting Al when the annealing temperature is above the Al melting point, and TiAl3 is forms firstly; then Ti3Al, TiAl and TiAl2 form between TiAl3 and Ti; as the heat treatment time increases, competing diffusion happens among Ti, α-Ti, Ti3Al, TiAl, TiAl2 and TiAl3; Ti3Al, TiAl and TiAl2 grow on accompanying with the absence of TiAl3, Ti and α-Ti; after TiAl3 is exhausted, Ti3Al and TiAl2 start to decrease and TiAl keeps increasing, and finally Ti3Al and TiAl reach equilibrium.
