Storage Performance and Influencing Factors of High-Power MH-Ni Battery

摘 要:Self-discharging of MH-Ni batteries are relatively serious. The open voltage of some batteries drops to less than 1.0 V after they are stored for 3 months. And the open voltage would further drop down as time goes on. The various properties of the batteries with both 0 V open voltage and other open voltage were analyzed and compared after the batteries with over 9 months of storage time were tested. The performance differences of the above two kinds of batteries and reasons of open voltage dropping to 0 V as well as the methods of removing 0 V batteries as batteries pack were found out.
