三轴压缩条件下沥青混合料中间主应力效应及破坏准则

摘    要:针对沥青混合料强度试验方法及沥青路面设计采用的最大拉应力理论没有考虑中间主应力影响的问题,利用自主研发的三轴试验装置及方法,对AC-13C沥青混合料开展三向压缩试验,包括常规三轴强度试验及中间主应力试验,观察试件的破坏形态。建立三向压缩条件下AC-13C沥青混合料的八面体强度理论计算式。研究结果表明:随着侧向压力的增大,试件破坏形态逐渐从拉应变破坏转变为斜剪破坏;沥青混合料在三轴压缩条件下的强度明显大于单轴抗压强度;中间主应力对沥青混合料强度有显著影响:当中间主应力逐渐增大时,三轴破坏强度逐渐增大,但强度增长幅度逐渐减小;所建立的三向压缩条件下AC-13C沥青混合料的八面体强度理论计算式可为沥青路面材料及结构按三维应力状态设计提供参考;建议采用能够反映中间主应力效应的强度理论作为沥青混合料的破坏准则。

Abstract: To solve the problem that strength test methods of asphalt mixture and the maximum tensile stress theory of asphalt pavement design do not consider the effect of intermediate principal stress, three-direction compression tests including conventional triaxial strength test and intermediate principal stress test were carried out on AC-13C asphalt mixture with self-developed triaxial test machine and test method. Besides, failure characteristics of specimens were observed. The octahedral failure criterion of AC-13C asphalt mixture was established under triaxial compression state. The results indicate that failure mode of specimen gradually changes from tensile strain failure to shear failure with the increase of the lateral pressure. The strength of asphalt mixture in three-direction compression state is obviously greater than uniaxial compression strength. Intermediate principal stress has significant effect on asphalt mixture’s strength, and it should be taken into account. Triaxial failure strength increases with the increase of intermediate principal stress, but the range of strength gradually decreases. The octahedral failure criterion of AC-13C asphalt mixture provides theoretical reference for material and structure design of asphalt pavement under three-dimensional stress state. The strength theory which can reflect the effect of intermediate principal stress is suggested to be used as asphalt mixture’s failure criterion.
