预聚物对聚合物分散液晶薄膜电光性能的影响

摘    要:选用双酚F环氧树脂(DGEBF)/聚乙二醇二缩水甘油醚(EGDE)/4, 4’-二氨基二环己基甲烷(PACM)/液晶(LC)复合体系,通过热聚合诱导相分离法制备聚合物分散液晶(PDLC)薄膜。研究刚性环氧单体DGEBF、柔性环氧单体EGDE和刚性胺类固化剂PACM对所制备的PDLC薄膜电光性能的影响。研究结果表明,随着EGDE含量的增加,可以降低PDLC薄膜的驱动电压,同时对比度呈现先增大后减小的趋势。当EGDE含量较大时,随着EGDE含量的增加,驱动电压的降低更为明显。当液晶含量为50%(质量分数),DGEBF、EGDE、PACM的摩尔比为1:8:5时,所制备的PDLC薄膜具有较佳的电光性能。

Abstract: Polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) films were prepared from thermal polymerisation-induced phase separation in diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F (DGEBF)/ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE)/4-((4-aminocyclohexyl) methyl) cyclohexanamine (PACM)/liquid crystal (LC) mixtures. The effects of rigid epoxy monomer (DGEBF), flexible epoxy monomer (EGDE) and rigid polyamine hardener (PACM) on the electro-optical properties of PDLC films were studied. The results show that driving voltage decreases and contrast ratio first increases and then decreases in trend with the increase of EGDE content. When EGDE content is higher, driving voltage decreases more obviously with the increase of EGDE content. When the liquid crystal content is 50% (mass fraction) and the molar ratio of DGEBF, EGDE, PACM is 1:8:5, the PDLC film with better electro-optical properties is obtained.
