Abstract: South Xinjian Cu-Au-Ag Metallogenic Belt is located near the boundary between Jiangnan Terrane and Cathysia Terrane. It has the cathysia type of crystalline basement, and experienced basin opening (rifting) for three times and the basin closing for three times since Proterozoicage. In correspondance with the structural evolution the belt has developed three sets of ore-forming rock series and happened reformed metallization for three_times. The emplacement of large deposits has been controlled by the crossing of many different geological factors.
