Microwave Radiation Synthesis Method of CaS:Eu2+, Sm3+ and Studies of Their IR Up-Conversion Properties

Abstract: IR up-conversion material CaS: Eu2+ , Sm3+ was synthesized by microwave radiation method (MRM). The effect of the different concentrations of Eu2+ ion and Sm3+ ion on properties of the up-conversion material CaS: Eu2+ ,Sm3+ was discussed. The crystal structure was determined by XRD. The experimental results show that the MRM compared to the traditional high temperature solid reaction method exhibits interesting features.
