Al2O3-B4C弥散芯块材料的烧结行为

摘 要:本文研讨了Al2O3和B4C粉末的粒度、烧结温度以及成型压力对Al2O3-B4C芯块烧结密度的影响。芯块烧结的行为主要由Al2O3粉末的性能所决定,而B4C则阻碍这一烧结的进行。当Al2O3粉末粒径大于6μm后,用烧结很难获得高于90%的密度。烧结温度高于1600℃后,含B4C芯块和纯Al2O3压坯都发生急剧收缩。高于1750℃后,主要由Al2O3发生热解、失氧并挥发严重,导致芯块产生微量膨胀,开孔增加而密度下降和纯Al2O3压坯收缩减慢。
Abstract: The effect of particle size,sintering temperature and forming pressure of Al2O3 and B4C on sintered density of Al2O3-B4C pellets is discussed.Sintering behavi-our of the pellets is mainly controlled by characters of the Al2O3 powders.Con-versely,B4C suppresses the sintering process.It is difficult to achieve a density higher than 90% by sintering when the particle size of Al2O3 powders is >6μm.If the temperature is>1600℃,significant shrinkage can be caused.When tempera-ture is >1750℃,themolysis of Al2O3,loss of oxygen in Al2O3 and serious vol-atilization will result in slight expansion arid decrease of density of the Al2O3-B4C pellets and slow down the increase of density of the pure Al2O3 pellets.
