Abstract: Based on analysis of rheology of oil-in-water emulsions during lubrication process. we have established the mathematical model of film thickness lubricated with emulsions during drawing process, The film thickness calculated with the model under general condition is very close to that of the test. From the calculating results it has been found that the lubrication condition during drawing process lubricated with O/W emulsions is generaly boundary lubrication condition.
