Abstract: A mathematical model for temperature field of water-cooling copper crucible in the induction skull melting process is established. The functional form of mathematical model for temperature field of induction melting process is given. The calculus of variations of the temperature in dispersing triangle unit was done. The stiffness matrix calculation formula of shaky temperature field and the calculation formula of coefficient matrix element are also given. The results show that when melting Ti-47Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy, the loading power is nearly in direct proportion to melting temperature. Increasing the loading power may raise the melt temperature.
