摘    要：COODL是正在开发之中的一个原型性面向对象数据库(OODB)语言系统,COODL研究的目的是为了克服现有系统的过分复杂化造成OODB难以走向实用化的严重障碍,为此,需要建立概念上更为简明的面向对象数据模型,并由此形成一个完备的标准化数据语言,其中包括数据定义、操纵与查询等主要设施,本文介绍基于COODL数据模型的查询与数据处置语言。

Abstract: COODL is a research prototype for an object-oriented database(OODB)language sys-tem. It is devoted to the construction of an object-oriented data model with simple and clearnotions. Based on this model,it is also devoted to the construction of a standardized data lan-guage with computational completness,including the facilities for data definition,manipula-tion and query.This paper presents the query and data manipulation language for COODL data model.
