Plasma Modified Polyaramid Fiber Surface and Fiber/Epoxy Interface

摘 要：<正> Kevlar-49 fiber was surface-modified through cold air plasma treatment and plasma grafting ofacrylic acid （AA）.Fiber surface properties were studied with ESCA,while interface properties with asingle fiber pull-out （SFPO） test.The stated surface modifications evidently improved the interfacialadhesion and increased the interfacial fracture energy of the aramid/epoxy composite system.
