Abstract: In order to obtain the coherent relationships between activities of components and phase diagrams, based on fundamental thermodynamic principles and basic thermodynamic data of substances, a set of new methods are presented for calculating activities of components from phase diagrams in binary peritectic systems under different given conditions. In the mathematical derivations, no hypothesis has been involved, accordingly, the acquired thermodynamic formulas can be applied universally. Furthermore, the initial values of integration in the calculation formulas with different given conditions have been discussed and the corresponding ways to determine these values have also been presented.
