摘 要:本文研究了摩擦组元SiO2颗粒形状对刹车材料摩擦性能的影响.试验证明类球形SiO2颗粒对摩擦性能的影响最好.根据分子-机械摩擦理论原理,材料的摩擦系数与实际接触面积有关,而类球形SiO2颗粒完整地镶嵌在基体内,起着耐磨、增加实际接触面积的作用,使材料具有优良的摩擦性能.
Abstract: In this paper, the effects of SiO2 particle shapes on the friction behaviours of brake materials were investigated. The experimental results show that, the SiO2 particles with near-spherical shape are most beneficial to the friction properties. According to the theory of molecule-mechanical friction, the friction coefficient of a material is related to real contact area. The near-spherical SiO2 particles which are uniformly embeded in matrix are wear resistant and increase the real contact area. So the materials have excellent friction properties.
