并行工作计算机公用存贮器多总线接口

摘 要:本文提出在共享公用存贮器情况下,连接PDP-11/45和LSI-11/23计算机的多总线接口,设计要求是要使得LSI机内存空间一对一地映射到PDP对应指定的地址空间上,完成各类数据传输任务,接口由PDP机运行程序启动。文中重点叙述了接口的硬件设计,各硬件模块划分及要求,接口讯号以及设计思想、方法及逻辑实现。
Abstract: It was required to interface a LSI-11/23 microcomputer to a PDP-11/45 Unibus in such a way that a contiguous segment of the LSI address space is mapped into the address space of PDP Unibus. The interconnection is such that both read, write and read-pause operetions can be performed on the Unibus. The goal of this arrangement is to run the PDP and LSI in parallel, sharing a common memory block. The PDP can be used to set up a program segment in the shared memory, and then LSI executes it. The two machines would communicate through a reserved set of locations in the common memory block. This paper deals with the design of hardware interface. A block diagram is presented.
