多层螺旋线圈电磁超声换能器优化设计及其实验研究

摘    要:建立多层螺旋线圈电磁超声换能器(electromagnetic acoustic transducer,EMAT)激励过程的有限元模型,基于正交试验表,研究线圈导线直径、相邻导线间距、线圈层数、多层线圈距离、永磁体尺寸、永磁体与线圈的距离等因素对EMAT换能效率和横波纯度的影响,给出EMAT的最佳参数组合,并进行实验验证;通过测量多层螺旋线圈串联和并联的等效阻抗,根据EMAT激励等效电路,结合实验和仿真结果,分析线圈串并联方式和线圈层数对换能效率的影响。研究结果表明,在EMAT激励电路输出电压恒定的条件下,EMAT换能效率随着串联线圈层数的增多而明显下降;与串联方式相比,多层线圈并联的EMAT接收信号幅值下降趋势不明显。

Abstract: A finite element model of a multi-layer spiral coils EMAT was established. Based on the orthogonal test table, the influences of the conductor diameter, the spacing of adjacent coil conductors, the layer of the coil, the distance between multi-layer coils, the magnet dimension, magnet-to-coil distance on the EMAT conversion efficiency and shear wave purity were studied. The optimal parameters combination of the EMAT were also obtained and verified by experiments. By measuring the impedance of different connecting mode (series or parallel) of multi-layer spiral coils, according to the excitation equivalent circuit of EMAT and combined with the experimental and simulation results, the influence of the series and parallel connection mode of the coils and the layer of the coil on conversion efficiency were analyzed. The results show that under the condition of a constant output voltage of the EMAT power amplifier, the EMAT efficiency is rapidly decreased with the increase of the number of coil layers when spiral coils are connected in series. When coils are connected in parallel, the downtrend of receiving signal amplitude is not significant compared to the series connection.
