摘    要：本文讨论了张家界-索溪峪地貌(张-索地貌)的有关问题,即:1.关于成因:根据物质基础,内、外动力,大地构造背景及地理环境,确定其成因为侵蚀-重力地貌。2.关于年代:从夷平面、剥蚀与相关沉积的关系以及古气候冷暖的更替。论证了地貌年代属于第四纪。3.关于名称:考虑到地貌成因、形态和岩性的特殊性,特专称为张家界-索溪峪地貌(简称为张-索地貌)。同时阐明它与“丹霞”地貌的区别。

Abstract: This paper deals with three problems on the geomorphology of the Zhangjiajie-Suoxiyu landforms.They are;1.Problem on their origin:According to the material foundation,the internal and external dynamic agents,the tectonic background and the geographical environ-ment,the Zhangjiajie-Suoxiyu landforms(simply Zhang-Suo landtorms)are origin-ally considered as erosion-gravity landforms.2.Problem on their age:From the data on the planation surfaces,the relation-ship between denudation and sedimentation,and the alternation between cold and hotclimates,the age of the landform is dated Quaternary.3.Problem on their terminology:Considering the peculiarity of the origin and morphology of the landforms,and the lithology,Zhang-Suo landforms are specially named.The difference between them and the“Danxia terrain”(Chen Guoda,1939) is clarified in this paper.
