EFFECT OF THE EXISTING STATES OF CHROMIUM ION ON THE COLOR CHARACTERISTICS OF DOPED β-C2S

摘 要:<正> According to the theory of crystal field, theexisting state of chromium ions in β-C2S was studiedwith optical spectra and EPR. The energy levels ofchromium ions were calculated. Chromium ions existin form of Cr4+ and Cr5+ coordinated with distortedoctahedra. The reason of fading of β-C2S hydrate isthat the strength of light absorption declines be-cause of the valence change of chromium ions andchroninm dissolves out and loses in water.
